The Lavender Room

This is my younger sisters room, that she never really used leaving it as a guestroom. The triple windows over look the side yard and the hydrangia hedge. The room is octogan shaped, the same high ceilings as the rest of the house, a closet that has a hidden stair way to the attic, and a lovely mantle. It has a front door that leads to the hall, a side door to my room and another side door to a smaller back bedroom. The room has been painted lavender from its former color dark blue.

The hand carved, hand painted bakced title mantle in this room. The titles are green and gold. The mirror is of bevould glass. We use space heaters rather than the fire place, wich would prove an expense through out the winter, since we don;t have central heat or air.
