The Rose Room

This is my room. The tripple windows over look the front upstairs porch and the street. I have four windows in my room. It is octogan shaped. Originally I had painted it Queen Anne Rose, but after 16 years(when I moved in myself) of wear it needed to be painted again. This color is actually what I wanted my old color too look like. My side window over looks the hydrangia hedge. The floor isn't done yet. It will be darker like the mantle. My desk is usually next to the triple windows so I can look out when I write and work. Its a lovely view.


The fire place has a scene of dancing greek goddesses on the fireplace cover. The tiles are blue and white,hand painted,baked ceramic, painted like clouds. The wood is hand carved. The mirror is of bevould glass. It is original to the house.
