The Upstairs Parlor and Hall

Here is the upstairs parlor to the right of the stairs. The floors have been redone (last time they were finished was 16 years ago.) in dark stain as they were before. The walls have a fresh paint of candlelight and the windows have white trim. Often my family or guests sit here and talk. The balcony is right outside these windows.


This is the main hall upstais. At the right is my bedroom door, one door down is the lavender room, the thrid door is the back bedroom. To the left is the Parlor and the stairs, the first door is my mothers room, the second doorway is a small hall that leads to a closet and the tea porch. The room in the center all the way down the all is the bathroom. At night the hall is cold and dark and not a pleasant trip from my room.
